CanSMOF, parent non-profit corporation of Anticipation, the 2009 Worldcon in Montréal, has announced the recipients of the two scholarships to attend SMOFCon 28. Kent Pollard from Saskatchewan and Norman Cates from New Zealand were awarded scholarships and will be in San José for SMOFCon 28. Congratulations, Kent and Norman!

ALAMO SMOFCon Scholarship Deadline Extended

The Texas-based convention-running group ALAMO has announced that they have extended the application deadline for their $300 scholarship to attend SMOFCon 28 to October 8. Their announcement says that “Everyone who has submitted their application should already have been contacted.”
