SFSFC announced today that the dates of the 2009 World Fantasy Convention have changed to October 29-November 1, 2009, rather than the following weekend as originally announced. Details of the announcement are in the press release and on the newly redesigned 2009 World Fantasy Convention website.

The deadline for applying for the 2008 SFSFC SMOFCon Scholarships has now passed and no further applications will be accepted. The Scholarship Committee is evaluating applications and will contact all applicants before announcing the results.

SFSFC has extended the deadline for applying for a $500 scholarship to attend the 2008 SMOFCon convention-runners convention in Columbus, Ohio. See our press release for more details.
