San Francisco Science Fiction Conventions, Inc.

We are not offering “pre-supporting” memberships in the Tonopah bid. Any person who votes in Westercon 74 Site Selection voting at SpikeCon/Westercon 72 in Utah by paying a $20 voting fee will automatically be a supporting member of Westercon 74. Our initial schedule of membership rates for Westercon 74 should we win is as follows:

Voted in Westercon 74 Site Selection

• Attending Membership: $10 ($30 total including the fee paid when voting)
• Supporting Membership: $0 (all voters are Supporting members)

Did not vote in Westercon Site Selection

• Attending Membership: $40
• Supporting Membership: $20 (redeemable toward an Attending membership at any time)

Youth Memberships

• Kid-In-Tow (under 7 as of July 2, 2021): $0, when accompanied by a paying adult
• Child (ages 7-12 inclusive as of July 2, 2021): $20 when accompanied by a paying adult. ($0 if the Child voted in Site Selection or has a Supporting membership.)
• Young Adult (ages 13-19 inclusive as of July 2, 2021): $30 ($10 if the member voted in Site Selection or has a Supporting membership.)

The above rates will be good through at least the end of calendar year 2019, and may be extended at our discretion.

Supporting members receive all convention publications and have the right to participate in Westercon 76 Site Selection, but cannot attend the convention. Supporting members may convert to Attending membership by paying the difference between what they paid ($20) and the current cost of an Attending membership at any time.

Attending members receive all of the rights of a Supporting membership, plus the right to attend the convention.

Per the Westercon Bylaws, any membership that costs at least as much as a Supporting membership includes the rights of a Supporting membership.
